City take England Star on Loan

Remi AllenLeicester City Ladies have boosted their great start to the season by taking ex junior player Remi Allen on loan until the commencement of the new Super League season.
“Remi is a great signing for the club which will no doubt give everyone a boast,” manager Matt Cook commented “the very fact a player like Remi wants to come here shows how the club has moved on in such a short time, credit goes to the whole club for that and I know Remi will bring so much to us apart from her obvious qualities as an international player.”
The developments started soon after Leicester beat locals rivals Loughborough Foxes to book their semi final place. Remi’s younger twin sisters Tori and Reva already ply their trade at Leicester City Ladies and are making a great impression in women’s football at such a young age of 16. Now all three sisters will wear the blue and white of the oldest women’s football club. Earlier today Remi was available to comment to Leicester City Ladies website “I would just like to say I am very honoured to be able to come back to the club I started my career at. I would like to thank everyone at the club for making this happen. I am hoping in my time here that I can help the club progress on and hopefully push on for promotion. Finally having the chance to play with my twin sisters is an amazing opportunity one I always hoped one day could come true. I am hoping I can pass on some knowledge to them and help them improve as players, although they will probably say its the other way around. I am really excited to get started.”
Leicester City Ladies would like to express their thanks to Lincoln City for their cooperation and permission for Remi to join on loan and she could feature in City’s next home match versus Curzon Ashton at the weekend.
