Season Opening

Leicester City Ladies FC will be hosting the 1st Inclusive (Disability) County League fixture of the season on Saturday 21st September at the Rubber Crumb Pitch opposite Aylestone Leisure Centre. The League fixture programme will see Junior and Youth Inclusive (Disability) Teams playing from 11.00am until 1.30pm and the Adults teams will then play from 1.45pm-3.45pm.
The League has an ethos of Fair Play and Respect and works to ensure all players have a positive experience whilst being involved.
Leicester City Ladies FC and Leicester City Woodgate FC (the Club’s Inclusive’s section) has been running since 2007 and now has Junior and Youth teams with around 16 youngsters training at the New College Sports Hall every Thursday from 5.00pm-6.00pm and the adults teams, which include around 45-50 male players and 10 females training every Thursday at St. Margarets Pastures from 4.30-6.00pm.

The Club proudly won Fair Play & Respect Awards in both the Junior and Adult Divisions at the Inclusive Respect Festival hosted at County FA back in June.

The Inclusive Section is always looking to recruit new players of all ages and is also looking to recruit volunteers to get involved with supporting players and coaching at the Thursday training sessions and managing the teams during the League fixtures which takes place on a Saturday, once per month.
