Unbeaten Home Run Continues

Leicester City Ladies home record still continues over a calendar year with an important win at home to Daventry Town.
Daventry Town played well in a good footballing encounter, the visitors were a huge threat on the break but City had the best of the chances first half.
After an early a scare for Leicester City ladies at the start of the second half when Reva Allen came to City’s rescue the home team got a foot hold in the game. With chances going missing it was incredible hard to break down the away team, crucially Hillier bounced on a defensive error to make it 1-0. Soon she was involved again as Hillier rounded the keeper to make it two. Hillier turned architect for number three and Shannon Edwards finished well. A good team performance in the second half sealed a vital win.
Overall credit to Daventry Town who’s organisation and counter attacking aloud them to put in a fine away performance, however City seem back to their good habits and take three points.
