This was a game that could have gone either way but with Leicester City Ladies looking for their third straight win were never going to just sit back.

The game started very quickly with both teams looking for an early goal, it was Ibstock who look the more likely with numerous early chances on goal. At time Leicester struggled to clear their defensive lines which could of easily gifted Ibstock with an a goal or two but were denied thanks to some outstanding goal keeping from Tillie. As the game went on Ibstock continued to test Leicester’s defence and at times all their players defending which saw Leicester struggle to make any kind of counter attack. Leicester at time struggled to pass the ball around as Ibstock were very tight in midfield and closed Leicester down very quickly with Leicester only had a few opportunity’s on goal the best one coming from Madison who had long range shot denied by Ibstocks’s keeper who didn’t really see much of it till it was upon her she did well it push it over the bar. Ibstock again went on to pressure Leicester’s defence and keeper who stayed strong through the remainder of the half which kept them in the game.
